Snow: I brush my naturally purple hair behind my pointed ear. A single aqua blue strand falls back out and shimmers in the sunbeam. I blow on it, but it falls right back. I roll my eyes at it and continue on with my study of human history. "Ugh! This is my worse class! Can we please not study this?! I should've taken regular history instead! I thought it would be fun..." I say to my best friend in the whole world, Drew Davidson, a vampire with a dry, straight-faced sense of humor and pale green eyes under a mop of blonde hair that had a habit of giving him away.
"Maybe you should pay more attention. I'm not having trouble passing, but maybe that's because I'm just gifted." He grins.
"Alright just teach me! So the North American independence day is on July 4th. and they were like slaves to uuuuhh like Scotland right?" He rolls his eyes at me.
"Yeah...not quite.."
"Well I didn't live there like you okay?"

Drew: "Yeah, thanks, Snow. Way to put the whole 'live' thing into past tense, rub in the whole 'undead' thing." I attempt to guilt her with hurt eyes, but she was having none of that.
"Ya okay. You shouldn't even be aloud to take this class anyhow." She huffs and crosses her arms like a child, pouting into the distance.
I sigh. "The North Americans weren't slaves to Scotland... or anyone actually, but the British did have control over them before they were called North Americans. They-" I'm interrupted by a thump and some loud clanging from the study room next to theirs. "What?" I stand up and start walking towards the door. "Hang on, I'm going to go make sure everything's okay."

Snow: "Uh ya," I push him behind me, "I think that someone with a A+ in Defensive Magic will do better than a Vampire with a C in Combat Fighting."
"Only because I don't show up! Everyone knows I'm the best." I open my mouth to respond, but we both jump in fright when a loud thunk sounds again.

Drew pushed Snow roughly behind him and opened the door to look cautiously into the hallway. No one else should be here this late. His first thought was a ghost, but immediately dismissed that. That was the pre-undeath Drew talking. Now, one of his good friends, Aaron, was a ghost, as well as many other students. His next thought was burglar, but nothing was in the school worth stealing.
No one was in the hall, so Drew stepped out and listened. The noise came again, from the room right next to theirs, this time accompanied by a scream. Drew through all caution to the wind and threw the door open. Inside were a couple of pixies standing over a beaker that was shooting out mini fireworks and showering the girls and the room with rainbow sparkles.
"I think this is a problem for you to solve, babe," Drew said, stepping aside so that Snow could get past.
